We as a venue, we offer you an ideal place for your wedding reception, where there are no hidden extras, we also let you and your guests choose on the day what you would like to eat at our functions. You do not need to choose what you would like to eat weeks in advance.
Our regular weekly events, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings along with Thursday lunchtime we offer a midweek Carvery. Friday Night is Party Night, Saturday night, we badge Celebration Saturday for you to celebrate you occasion with a full choice 3 course meal and disco until midnight. Sunday Lunch is a perfect time when you do not want the atmosphere of the disco.
Throughout the year we also offer special themed events, such as 80s and 90s party nights, Motown & Northern Soul, Day Disco, Afternoon Tea and Murder Mystery to name but a few.
When we look for entertainers for you it not the cheapest but the quality and all round entertainment, as we have to cater for a large range of customers.

Different organisations use our facilities for their weekly or annual meetings, such as Rotary clubs, Inner Wheel, Probus and WI to name but a few.
Afternoon Tea will be served at 1pm followed by TV Antiques expert James Lewis, who will bring you a small glimpse into the world of antiques. Please inform us before the day if you have any food allergies.
2 course meal. Our Daytime Disco is the perfect blend of food, fun and entertainment!

The Hostess is a family owned business with all the facilities to help you enjoy your time with us. We have a large restaurant which is based just on the outskirts of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and can seat up to 180 people. We offer freshly cooked food and our menus are changed weekly.
As a building it is all on one level so easy access with no stairs or steps.

If you wanted to add an extra splash of colour and personalised table setting, we do offer a table decorating service. Where we provide 2 balloons in the appropriate colour scheme along with a foil balloon to match the celebration along with table sprinkles and correctly coloured napkins and the
puesto resistance, is where we can personalise the front of the menu for you, whereby you can forward an image/jpg to put on the front of the A6 folded menu.
We have built a gothic folly ruin now making it a perfect location for your wedding reception photographs, along with the willow trees and wishing well and horse shoe arch.
